Storyboard
- 0:00 - 0:08Alone on paperA small red robot stands on a warm empty page. It blinks, looks left and right, tilts its head. Nothing else exists.
- 0:08 - 0:15It finds a glass prismThe robot walks right. A prism sketches itself onto the paper line by line. The robot leans in, curious.
- 0:15 - 0:22White light entersThe page dims. A soft white beam slides in from the top right and lands on the prism. The glass glows. The robot backs up a step, eyes wide.
- 0:22 - 0:30The rainbow fans outSix bands leave the prism and spread across the page, stroke by stroke, until they cover the left half of the paper.
- 0:30 - 0:38The robot walks into the rainbowIt turns and walks left into the colour. The bands wash over its body. It raises its arms and spins once.
- 0:38 - 0:45Dark endingThe paper sinks to ink, the rainbow fades, and only the robot's two eyes keep glowing.
How it is drawn
Everything is painted on a 1280 x 720 canvas at 60 frames per second. No video, no image files, no fonts, no audio, no libraries.
The paper is procedural grain, fibres and blotches generated once and cached. Every shape is two or three offset brush passes at low alpha, and the wobble re-rolls every four frames so the lines shimmer like animation on twos.

Five colours. The rainbow bands are red, gold, blue and their mixes. The light beam is a soft white.
Record webm restarts the film and captures the canvas with MediaRecorder for the full 45 seconds, then downloads the file. Add ?auto=1 to autoplay, or ?auto=1&t=12 to jump to a second and pause there.
